I have a 1991 4 speed hatchback. One morning i started the car and pulling out of the driveway it felt like it was going to die, so i gave it more gas and it kept going. 3 blocks down the street i began to go up a slight hill and the car just died. Now the car wont start and i changed the spark plug wiring. There is also oil in the spark plug wells, is this the problem?

 

Do you have spark? Does the fuel pump prime? Is the LED on the ECU blinking any codes? Was there smoke in the exhaust before the engine died?
