Just in case anyone is interested, I switched my cheapo $2 NGK spark plugs to platinum Bosch, and there is no more hesitating or shaking. It really pays to buy the better plugs, and really, it's not that much more money.

Umm... maybe you just needed spark plugs in general? Bosch plugs are junk, I doubt that they're better than NGK V-powers.

NGK V-Power FTW!!!!
Bosch makes themselves look better than they really are.
You said that before you switched out the plugs and it temporarily solved your problem but then came back. So expect that to happen again.

The NGKs only lasted 5k miles until doing this, so I'd say they aren't great. The previous ones lasted 50k.

What do you mean by lasted? Whats wrong with them when you replace them?

So what makes you think that the Bosch Platinum will last longer? You're basically saying the Bosch are better but you haven't even driven on them long enough to give them a chance to have the same problem that you did with the NGK plugs.

Also, it's not really a good idea to go 50k without changing plugs...

You might be running rich, which is destroying the plugs faster than normal.

!!!!! BOSCH plugs suck on imports...
NGK V-power is best for honda's
and you should always recheck the gap on your plugs about every 2-3k miles and regap them if needed
