Car makes weird Noise
I'll try and explain this as best as possible.
Its a 2001 Honda Civic LX.
Just Recently my Check Engine light came on after I had been going around 100-120 on the highway as I was in an extreme rush because my wife was going into labor and I was trying to get to the hospital ASAP.
As some point during that time the Light came on.
At the time I noticed nothing wrong and at first I figured it was because I needed to get my oil changed. (Been about 5,000 miles) The next morning I started the car and went about a mile and all of a sudden my car started vibrating and making weird noises and would not accelerate like normal. (At first I thought my transmission was going down the tubes) and after a couple seconds it stopped and did not have any problems the rest of the trip.
When I start the car later again...I was letting it warm up and after a minute or so it did the same vibrating and weird noises. I immediatly turned the car off and then back on and it went away and did not happen again...
UNTIL..
I later turned my car back on...Its like a repeat cycle. When my car is off for a period longer than an hour it does it almost everytime and I have to wait, Turn the car off and back on and then Im fine.
I got my oil changed earlier today hoping that would fix it and it appeared it did as the first time I turned my car on it did not do it. But the 2nd and 3rd times...It did.
Any Ideas what might be wrong?
