Car won't start
Hi guys, I am having problems with my Honda Civic 2001 DX coupe.
So some back info, while I was driving, the engine basically cut off and everything shut down. Once I was stopped I tried to start it, but it wouldn't start, engine still cranked though trying to start.
I already tried jump starting it and it still didn't work.
I checked the fuel line and realized no fuel was getting to the engine. So I checked the fuel pump and while it was turning on, it wasn't putting out enough psi so I bought a new one. I put the new one in and it still isn't starting, but it is now getting fuel to the engine.
I checked the fuel relay also just in case (even though it should be working because the fuel pump was working) and it is working.
So yeah, I'm stuck on where to go from here. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Check for stripped timing belt. I think you can look inside the oil cap and see the rocker arms-- watch for them to move when you crank. If it doesn't, the cam is not turning and of course the engine can't run like that.
Pull one of the coils, put a spare plug in it and check for sparks. Also connect an OBDII scanner and see if there are any codes. Failure of the crank sensor would cause sudden death (no sparks or fuel injection) like this, but it's not common.

thanks for the reply.
The timing belt is still good.
Arms are moving.
I haven't checked for sparks yet but I have used a sensor and all that came up was an IAT sensor.
Still not working but will check for sparks asap.
