Exclamation 2000 Civic Blown Head Gasket, Bad Valve Seals, after tow, now CRANKSHAFT STUCK!!HELP!

Hi everyone,
My 2000 Civic D16Y7 overheated and blew the head gasket. I put head gasket sealer in it to seal it. That worked for a couple of days, but then the bad valve seals leaked oil into the cylinders which made the spark plugs get oil spashed onto them. It would start and run but when the oil got on the spark plugs it would die. So it breaks down at a gas station, and I can't flush the head gasket sealer out because there was no hose.

I jump it several times, and it just runs and then dies as the spark plugs get oil on them. So I get it towed for a head gasket change and valve seals. Then they say the crankshaft is stuck.

Did they mess up the crankshaft while towing it?

Did the head gasket sealer dry in bad places? Or is a valve stuck open causing the piston to hit it when they turn the crankshaft by hand? It was not sticking before. HELP!!!

I think it would be cheaper & faster to replace the whole motor.

Could be water in a cylinder (hydro-locked), you could check that by taking all the spark plugs out and see if the crank turns then.

I would agree with Droopy, the sudden occurance of the oil related problems after overheating strongly suggests that the engine is completely toast. Valve seals won't let that much oil into the cylinders. Almost everyone who says they have bad valve seals is actually in denial that the rings are shot.

Unhappy

Thanks guys, it turned out that the head gasket sealer in it sat for too long. I told the shop that towed it to flush the cooling system but they didn't, it got into the oil. Now the oil sump is full of water & head gasket sealer, and either gunked up and cured in the rod bearings and seized them, or the oil and water separated and the water seized the bearings. It's locked. Thanks for you help guys.

Oh yeah, no valves hit at all and the head seems to fine
