Default can you tow an automatic without a dolly? "flat tow"

hi, i've looked everywhere to find out if i can tow an automatic car without a dolly, but i keep getting mixed signals. so i figured i'd ask in here since its a honda im towing. i have a automatic 93 civic sedan.

I've heard if you keep it under 45 MPH in NEUTRAL. But I'm just some guy on the internet...

well i would NOT! you might be able to BUT lets face it to put on a front tow bar.... NOT SAFE!!!!!!
your best to just get a tow dolly and put the front wheels on it to tow!
plus thats just more wear on your axle shafts/bearings. auto or manual.
always best to put the drive wheels on a dolly! or flat bed trailer if ya can. you can always RENT a uhaul car trailer if you dont want to just buy a car dolly.
