Car wont start on a hill
New to the forums, and new to being a civic owner.
I just bought the civic from a girl i work with.
She said the car wont start when theres moisture out or its raining.
Ok easy fix, probably distributor cap and rotor.
Now for the other problem.
(Keep in mind i have a little under a full tank of gas)
I had the car parked on the driveway the other day (nose down hill)
I went to start it, cranked but it wouldnt start.
I let it go cause it was really wet from a lot of rain.
Next day dry, went outside tried to start it. Cranked but wouldnt start again.
I tried to Roll start it down my driveway but no luck, so i left it at the bottom of the hill where its level. I headed out for the evening.
When i got back i thought i'd give it a shot, and it started right up on level ground not issues what-so-ever.
I pulled it into my driveway that night (nose uphill). Next day went outside and the thing started right up.
So i'm lost as to what would be causing this issue.
Any ideas or suggestions?

At this point you really can't tell for sure if it's related to being on a hill, or just walking away for a few hours and trying again. The car's history suggests some fundamental issue that hasn't been found yet. Usually a coil lasts the life of the car. Bad cap rotor or wires can put a lot of stress on the coil. Also avoid aftermarket ignition parts when replacing them.
I'd also resolder the main relay just for the heck of it, it's a known trouble spot for those "sometimes cranks but won't start, other times starts up perfectly."
To be sure that fuel is reaching the fuel rail you can disconnect the return hose (from the fuel pressure regulator to the metal line on the firewall) and direct it into a container. Turn the key on but don't start-- while the pump is priming, fuel should come out.
