i'm in the process of looking for a new car and i found a 1989 Honda Prelude in nearly perfect condition. However, the guy says that the lude needs a new carburetor but the car still runs. Two questions... if i drive the lude without a new carburetor what kind of problems will come up? and second does anybody know where to get a carburetor? i found one on rock auto for like $800 and that's more than i'm willing to spend.

Buy it and do a B21A1 swap.

 

Autozone has it for $360.99 plus a $90 core. It's a special order in my area but still much cheaper than $800.
