Default Change 95 civic ac drive belt

Can not figure how to remove the air conditioning drive belt from a 95 honda civic ex. I loosened an adjusting bolt on the pulley between the A/C compressor pulley and the main drive pulley but it did not reduce the tension on the belt. Please help.

To loosen the A/C belt, you must first loosen the center nut on the idler pulley and then turn the adjusting bolt to loosen the belt.

The power steering belt must be taken off in order to remove the A/C belt.

Yeah you have to loosen the center nut on the idler pulley first then turn, turn, turn the adjuster bolt (counterclockwise) until the belt is loose enough to remove. As previously mentioned if the car has power steering you need to remove that belt first. You'll also need to unbolt the lower motor mount from the frame to get the belt out and the new one on. To reach the motor mount, jack up the car and remove the left front wheel, and the plastic inner fender liner. The motor will not fall out when you unbolt the mount, the other mounts are still holding it.

and you may as well do the other two if they are old or questionable. No sense in doing the same job three times.
