Default Changed Master Cylinder

Well i have a 95 civic that i changed the master cylinder yesterday*i bled the master cylinder by the instructions that autozone gave" and i bled all the brakes but i didnt go in order like your supposed to. im going to try try to bleed the brakes again today maybe there is air inside but the pedal sinks when im driving but when the car is off its actually pretty hard like my 04 accord i really dont know what went wrong if its just i need to bleed the brakes more or what

What Happened:
Well i took a look at the back break shoes and there almost metal to metal and on the 95 civic inorder 4 it to bleed correctly you have to follow the sequence because so much air can get in when you replace the master cylinder. My brake pads were also getting worn very fast because the front passenger side hub bearing is shot! Im replacing the brake shoes tommorow i will bleed the brakes once again in the right sequence and re adjust the back brake shoes. i will replace the bearing next week because i have to goto my shop and have it pressed in which isnt cheap lol

I'd say the master cylinder is defective or you've got a leak somewhere...after you've rechecked your work by attempting to bleed out the "air": try this. Take your car out to an unpopulated area and slam on your brakes a few times--lock them up. If your pedal is still squishy, then I don't know what to tell you.

You probably just need to go through and bleed again in the proper sequence. When the engine is off you have no power boost, and that makes the pedal seem firmer than it really is.
