The misfire error hasn't come back in the past 2 weeks, but I know what you'll probably say...do it anyway
I checked the fuse and all is good. Gotta love the little puller tool that was hidden in there. A pleasant surprise b/c I couldn't find my needle nose pliers.

Ok, so 1st thing in the morning, I'll check for frayed wiring once again. If not, I'll go buy an 02 sensor from autozone.
Hopefully that'll solve the issue for now. If not, I'll buy a new manifold

I'll keep y'all posted. Thanks again!

So after some more searching here on this site, and calling American Honda at the chance it was covered from that "emissions recall" (it wasnt, only 95,96,97 were)[:@] I went to Autozone and had a chitchat w/ one of the workers.
He recommended this stuff

For $6 I figured it was worth a shot. The guy saved me the $80 and said don't bother w/ the o2 sensor now, it's very likely that crack like you guys said.
I got a manual and now I just gotta figure out how to remove the manifold!
I'll keep ya posted.

Well here's the end (hopefully) of the story. I used that thermosteel junk and the light ended up coming back on. I bought a new bosch sensor and reset it and so far everything seems fine yipee! It might be my imagination but it feels like the car runs stronger too.
The only thing is it seems at idle, the tach will drop almost to 0! and you can feel it about to cut out- but it never does so meanwhile I'm not worried. I know on my motorcycles, I can adjust the idle speed but how could I do that here. Actually, that probably wouldn't fix anything because at all other times its fine. Maybe I could try some fuel injector cleaner?

That's good news about the new O2 sensor. Your engine is now running much more efficiently because the O2 sensor is now sending proper O2 readings to your ECU, which ensures that the engine is burning the desired stoichiometric air/fuel ratio.

Is the low idle issue associated with the CEL turning ON? Regardless, you may want to try solving the idle problem by cleaning your IACV:

Remove fuse 6 (15 A) in the under-hood fuse/relay box for 10 seconds then reinsert.

Okay, this is why newbies shouldn't be around cars Just kidding.
I went and loooked under the hood but couldn't find it. Then I looked in the shop manual for a bit, then went back out and thought I found it.
This is what I thought was the IACV because it had two hoses and one electrical connection.

Then I realized it must be physically touching the throttle body somehow as this wasnt. I took off the airbox and saw this.

Now it was a pita to get it out with my crappy tools but I did and it's now drying from being cleaned w/ chemtool carb cleaner. It scared me because it didn't really look like the pics in that thread, but I'm pretty sure that it's it, right?

Ok, well after I reassembled everything, I went to start it and got 2 trouble codes. P0108 and P1509. The engine would jump all around as I accelerated. I looked around and realized I forgot to plug the unit back in. [:@] d'oh
Did that, erased the codes, and started 'er up. Still no good. It now only had one code, the P0108 and i couldn't get rid of it. The engine still seems like its fluctuating and also won't go above 5500 . I know the code means Map/Baro circuit High input. Is that because I cleaned it out and it just needs time to adjust?

Please help?

I took another look around, thinking maybe I reinstalled it improperly. Seems like I put everything back in order, but the light and code still return. It drives fine but still feel a jump on decel around 1500. I'm out of guesses, anyone have any suggestions?
I'm open to anything!
