Default Check Engine light

Well after getting a good tune up on the car the shop went ahead and tuned the check engine light off. About a week ago it came back on. There isn't wrong with the engine anymore. Does anyone now why the light came back on? i asked some of my friends and they said if it just get to take it off agian it would just come back on. it kinda makes me mad that it's back on b/c everyone asks why it's on. i'm to the point now of taking the light out, or should i just not worry about it since there isn't anything wrong?

if your engine works good and all the o2 sensors are working right then i have no clue what it would be. when i bought my car the check engine light was on and the guy had it tested at autozone and everything as fine with it. dont take out the light!!!! is it throwing any kind of code or just staying on?

i also had it checked at auto zone and said that nothing was wrong with it. it's just more embarassing than anything else.
