Default Chevy O2 sensor in 98 Civic

so cause I was curious, and cheap I put a 98 chevy malubu that I had laying around in my 98 civic. I thaught it would work since they make 4 wire universal o2 sensors that would work on my car and the malibu. So I looked at the manufacturers wire chart and matched up the green and white and guessed on the black ones since honda uses black and chevy uses brown for their o2 heaters. The only thing that I do not want to do is to mess up the computer. Will this do that or do yall think I will be ok, thanks.
