civic 1993 help... doesnt start just cranks
I woke up yesterday morning and my car just cranked and wouldnt start.. I checked the battery and gas and they were good. I also checked the spark plug to make sure it was ok .. there was definately fuel getting to it but no spark.. I checked the distributer for an apparant break please help!
If you live in a HOT climate, the main relay under the steering wheel can open due the heat built up in the car, and will not allow your car to start. This is particular to the early 90's model civics. I think Honda fixed it on mid-later 90's& up.
If its hot in the interior of car, open the doors and allow it to cool off inside, if it starts after that, then you need to replace the main relay.
