Default civic 1997 horn & brakelights problem

car is 1997 Honda civic 1.4 petrol

The problem is all 3-rear brakelights and the horn are not working at all.

I have checked the fuses, the horn and brakelights operate on the same fuse, but the fuse is ok.

Can anyone offer any help/ advice as to the problem?

Well, the brake lights are most likely the brake switch up underneath the dash by the brake pedal. Doubt the horn is actually related, probably just a coincidence. If you've checked the fuses, have you checked for voltage at the horn itself?

Answer: the brakelights and the horn are combined on one fuse, check under the dash and replace the fuse with same amp rating.

same thing happened to me, power touched ground and short circuited the system.

If your car is a hatch, the wires could be broken were they enter the hatch at the top. And you could just have a bad Horn?

come on buddy, the horn just doesn't go out like that along with cut brake lights from the hatch from coincidence, just use common sense, it's a fuse
