I have a Honda Civic 2001 EX with about 98,000 miles on it. A few years ago, I noticed in the winter mornings when it was really cold, I would start the engine and the gauges on the dash would all rattle for maybe 2 seconds. Then they would go back to normal. My mileage from trip A and trip B would also reset to 0.0 (odometer has never been effected).

Once spring and summer hit, this problem went away. It never seemed to happen when the car was warm. Last winter, I noticed that this happened more frequently. This year, it happens more often than not and the gauges seem to rattle longer. If anyone can help me resolve this, I would really appreciate it.
