Default civic dx header

hi, i'm new here and I couldn't find anyone who already answered this question. i am buying an aftermarket header off a guy tomorrow for my 94 civic dx. it is used and don't know anything about the car it came out of was a 92. What are the chances it will fit in my car and how easy will it be to tell if it fits without actually trying to put it on?

If it's out of a 92 and it has the stock engine (D-series), it will fit.

It's aftermarket and I don't know what series it's out of. I just want to know about bolt patterns and how obvious it will be to tell and the other series engines it could come off of and still work.

Like I said, if it was on a D-series engine it will fit your car.

so no other series will match up? If not, what about drilling out new holes? I have $250,000 worth of tools at my disposal and am quite handy. Sorry about these questions... My mentor is in jail.

I guess if you can weld you could remove the flange and weld a D-series one on... but if you're gonna go through all that trouble you might as well make it from scratch or just buy the right one from someone else.

it's off a crackhead on the cheap... I'll see if I can eyeball it. Even if I screw up and it doesn't fit, i wont be out much. Thanks for you advise.
