I have a 92 civic hatch back and I hit a deer and had to replace the hood and the fender. I ordered new parts and installed them. Now between the hood and front bumper I have a 2 inch gap. Was woundering what the difference was between the hatch and 4dr model hoods? Just want to see if maybe I have the wrong one or if somethings else is messed up on the car. Also if someone could get me the measurments of the 2 different hoods. Any more info would be great.

I'm not sure if they are different but you could try loosening the bolts on both of them and moving them around to try and make the gap smaller.

They ARE different, 4 door hoods and fenders are different from 2 door coupe and hatchback models. You might have got sent the wrong one. If your desperate then get back to me and I will go measure my 2 door coupes hood which by the way is the same as the hatchback but not the same as the 4 door.
