Unhappy Hood Bra went wrong...pics

wtf i put on my oem hood bra that came with my car for 1 week and i got this.

....and no thats not a cloud.

is my paint oxidized? can this be fixed? HELP!!! i know that hood bras were known to fade paint but 1 week?

I have never seen this in my life, and i have seen some crazy paint's gone wrong.
I dont know what to say.

It looks like the paint got removed. There wasn't like some kind of oil on the bra was there? Thats super strange. Did you use anything to slip it on easier?

no nothing on the bra that i know off, it looked really clean, it's been sitting in my garage for a while and the first time i used it. i have some turtle wax, so ill do that tomorrow. yea its crazy

Wow, that looks like what happens when you take off the heat shield on some cars. But that usually takes months/years to mess up the paint like that.

Perhaps the bra being on caused the sun to bake the paint underneath.

Looks like clear coat damage to me. Dunno how it just got the one spot. I'd sand and try to respray.
