Alright guys, i'm new to the forum, so, hi for starters. I've got a 91 CBR 600 F2, so, i'm not new to Hondas. Just new to the cars. I also drive a 92 Jeep cherokee. But, the reason i've joined up here is, well, my fiance wants a Honda civic. I already know a civic will last forever if taken care of. She's lookin at a 2000 or so. We want a 4 door. My question is this, my cherokee is lifted and ready for the mud, not long trips on the highway, and, have a motorcycle, i'd like to be able to put it on a little 4x6 trailer. I've searched all over the web and come up with nothing. That, or, i am an idiot and didn't search correctly. Either way, i'll ask the experts. I would like to know if a civic ever came with a a tow package? The bike only wieghs 400 lbs or so, and, the bike will be the only thing towed with it. So, if it is offered, does it effect warranty? Or, do i have to call dealers to find out specs? I'd greatly appreciate any help. Thanks in advance to all!

If any Civic ever came with a tow package, it would be news to me... (except maybe the 4G 4WD station wagons).

 

you could always buy a hitch

 

if its an automatic i would at least put a trans cooler on it

 

or some more juice in the motor and bigger brakes. You will be sorry if you try to stop with stock brakes on at high speeds

 

Thanks for the replies guys. Reason i asked, well, I knew you could buy a hitch, but, would it void out a warranty? She'd rather have a warranty on it. She wants an exhaust on it, i want to put some wheels on it, and, if we'll be towing, stock brakes will def be thrown out the window, well, not literally. But, you know. Well, i guess i gotta just call the dealer and see if adding a hitch is under will void the warranty. (fingers crossed)
