civic vti 92 cv boot replac

can anyone help me by giving me information on how to fit my outter cv boots in my car.also som wierd noises *** from the car near the master slave does anyone now wat???its like gas releasing from somewhere

It's been mentioned here many times but I'll bring it up again.
It's probably a lot easier to just replace the entire axle. Shouldnt' cost over $75 per axle for remans.

why spend 75 dollars if the axle is not noisy........you can replace the cv boot for about 7-10 dollars

you need to remove the axle from the car, get a big hammer and hit the outer jopint on the inner part , joint should pop out, replace the boot, reinstall joint , make sure to press down on the clip so the joint will slide over it and lock in place

i agree - just bought one at autozone for 5 dollars and some odd cents.

wish the manufacturer would make it so that it could be taken apart at the u-joint (or whatever it is called) without having to remove the axle.
