So my head has been clicking since I bought the car about 5 months ago. I replaced the header because it had 2 small leaks...still clicked. Today I did a valve adjustment. All the exhaust side were still in spec and only 3 of the intake side needed slight adjustment. So I start it up and it still has the same clicky sound.

What else could this be? Motor is a B18b1 if that helps at all.

Ive also been told that the injectors tend to click a little, could this be it? Ive never heard that before today.

Would they click with acceleration? The clicking tends to follow how much I rev the motor. Speed up and slow down with my RPMs.

 

more rpm's more fuel........more clicking
does it sound like its coming from the injectors....

 

94hatch.... I THINK he wants to stop clicking :P jp jp no need for sarcasm..... but is there anyway to stop the clicking?

 

Im actually thinking it might be coming from the Crank Pulley. I cant really tell for sure, but I dont think its coming from the injectors.
