Default clunking/thumping noise when turning right

it's been happening for a while but I haven't had time to check. but everytime i turn right i hear a clunking/thumping sound coming from the front driver side. Could it be the strut? Ball joints or bushings? 97 honda civic lx 4 dr.

any help please

That type of sound produced while turning is typically caused by a bad CV joint in one or both of the axles. If so, just replace the bad axle.

Okay, thank you, I'm kind of laughing because I just changed the CV boot for that side because it was cracked/torn when I got the car. Oh well, I guess I'll have to change both out just to be safe. I remember searching and reading that there as a way to figure out which joint needed to be changed.

While I'm down there is there anything you would recommend checking-out/changing?
