Clutch Hydraulic Fluid Pressure Build Up
I'm having an issue with the clutch hydraulic fluid building up pressure to a point where the clutch will not even release. If I open the bleeder valve on the slave, it releases the pressure and everything is ok for a while. When the pressure comes back, the clutch pedal is under pressure and right at the top of its travel. Has anyone experience this? It is a 1993 Civic CX.
I'll give that a try. I replaced the master cylinder before this started to happen. Perhaps I don't have the push rod adjusted properly or I have a faulty master. I'm not sure how the pressure is normally let off.
Normally, when the master cylinder is all the way out, the piston uncovers a hole which allows the fluid to return to the reservoir. Once the piston starts to move in, the hole is covered up allowing pressure to build.
