Unhappy Clutch issue :-(

hey everyone thanks firsty for reading this.
i have a 1996 honda civic 1.5 ls vtec, it has 101,000 on the clock at the momment, it has had 2 previous owners. i have a recent problem with the clutch, when i first turn on the car and drive around 3 corners my clutch biting point drops right to the floor and then i would pop to my mates shop which is 5 minutes from my house, i would pull up turn it off and then turn it back on and press the clutch a few times, in which the clutch biting point would come back up to its normal place, and would be fine after, this has happened in the last 2/3 days so i wouldnt want it to happen oviously at all. can anyone help me figure out what is the problem as i havent got money to buy a new clutch. thanks in advance John.

Any clutch fluid leaks from master or slave cylinders? A common leak location is at the top of the clutch pedal.

If there are no leaks, try thoroughly bleeding the system.

Sounds more like a hydraulic than clutch problem.

Check the fluid level, if low find the leak. If fluid is OK this late disengagement, having to pump the pedal, etc. is usually a sign that the clutch master cylinder is on the way out.
