Coolant Leak behind engine
Hey Everyone, I have a 93 honda civic dx. So I found the I have a really bad coolant leak (I know it is coolant because it is bluish green). Im having to refill my reservoir tank and radiator once every 3 days. I first found that the leak was dropping down under the passenger side right under the tranny. I jacked the car up and traced the leak to right behind the engine bay. It is literally coming from the exact center of the whole engine, about half way down. dripping onto the top of the tranny onto the floor. Any thoughts?
I know that it is not the tranny, nothing with the intake, nothing with the radiator or coolant reservoir tank.
Thanks everyone!

Use a pressure tester to put the radiator under pressure, then get under the car and find exactly where it is leaking out. There are a bunch of small hoses on the intake that contain coolant. The manifold itself has a coolant passage on it. The black pipe across the back of the engine is coolant. There are heater hoses, and a bypass hose. In rare cases it may leak between the block and the head from the head gasket.
UM..AND IM JUST GUESSING HERE...oops.caps...but is there a metal coolant line right under your fuel injection system..it comes from the back of the timing chain inclosure on the block...crossing your motor horizontally..ending next to the tranny, i think that it goes to the heater core....but its prone to rusting out...i had to replace it on a 89 accord i had.id think that before head gasket...and its a easy fix..but pain to get to.check that and hose connecting to it for leakage.
remember just a guess
