Default Coolant nightmare fixed . . .

After getting a thousand different opinions and going through every mech in my area , each one of them told me something diff. and believing it may have been the head , head gasket , maybe the block itself. the car was just loosing coolant fast and it was no where to be found , no puddle underneath the car , no smoke our of the exhuast bottom line , IT WAS DRIVING ME CRAZY. so i decided to get the car up in jack stands and start the engine and just leave it running for about 45 minutes and what do you know coolant started to come out fron the back of the engine near the oil filter ,and as soon as it made contact with the block it dissapeared. turns out it was this hose , some sort of nipple like hose. its actually beneath the PCV valve on my b18c1. it was so destroyed its not even funny. im going to replace it tomorow and hopefully my problems are gone!

To get a job done right your better off just to do it yourself. Good job on finding it.

Did you notice any steam coming off during idle or was the leak too slow to notice?

sometimes when i rev'd up the engine a little steam would come out , but not during idle, and there was always this smell of coolant being burned.
