Default Cooling system draining battery of 07 Civic?

A few days ago my wife drove my 07 Civic and when I went to drive it later in the evening the battery was dead. I jumped it and drove it to recharge the battery but the next day it would not start.
I jumped it and drove it to the local autoparts store thinking the battery was dead and had them test it. They said the battery was fine, but the alternator was bad so I purchased and installed another one. Pricey I might add.

Charged and drove it today and noticed cool air coming from the vents but the AC was off. When I got home I disconnected the ground wire at the battery and
when I reattached it heard a click. Thinking this was the possibly an AC relay I sought it but have not found it yet. I did find a 7.5A fuse under the hood labeled MG Clutch that seems to make the clicking stop so I am thinking someone here may have some idea of what I am actually doing with these actions.

Am I killing voltage to the relay and thus stopping the voltage leak?
Where is this relay, and I assume it should be relatively easy to replace eh?
Thanks for any assistance.

Rusty
