Default Correct plug for 2003 civic LX 1.7?

NGK PZFR6F-11 is what is rec by the manual. About $10 locally. The sore will sell NGK iridiums for $2 less and claims iridium is technologically newer? Will the car run well with iridiums? Thanks

Best to use just what the manual recommends. Are you saying that the store is selling iridium plugs for $2 less than the basic ones?
