Cracked Cylinder Head (UPDATED)

RE: Cracked Cylinder Head?
Thanks cpl rampage... I took my car to a new shop today because I won't take the crap our Honda Service Center is giving me anymore [:@](I'm from the Philippines btw). The owner of the new shop is supposedly a former mechanic of a well known Philippine rally racing team back in the day... The dude took apart the engine pretty quick and found that my gaskets, belt, fuel filter, oil seal (or something like that) needed replacing. He also found that my cylinders were showing signs of wear, which he said was normal (it's a 96... what do you expect). He recommended re-bore... I kinda got exited, especially when he started talking about port and polish and whatnot... Anyways, the cylinder head is being sent to a machine shop tom. to check for leaks and stuff. Will post updates soon...

RE: Cracked Cylinder Head?
I'm getting my cylinder head ported and polished!!! [sm=happy046.gif] Should be done 2 weeks from now. Also, my mechanic found loads of stuff that needed replacing... At this rate my civ should be running sweet as nut, and then some...

RE: Cracked Cylinder Head?
unfortunatly arround here there isnt maby performance places around hear, so prices and waits are always a premium. theres only one head machineist around here that i know of, and only 2 mod/performance shops, and ive only been to one, but i got my head back on tonight, but ive got work tommorrow, so prolly wont get it on the road till thursday or friday
