is there an easy way to repair/patch a cracked bumper kit?? its a c-west bumper, and i just got the ****in thing!! i took it off to put on my new headlights. while reinstalling the bumper i ****ed up! now there is a 3" crack right below the passanger side headlight. i'm worried it will get worse if left unrepaired.
any suggestions???? i tried to post a pic. but it said it was too large of a file.

go and buy some resen, fiberglass strips,hardenr and all that good stuff and start to fiber glass over the cracked part and fill it all in, fiberglass the back too, sand it down so you cant tell u did anything,paint it.. and there you go

 

if u cant seem to fiberglass it properlyt then get some bondo.......fill in the crack sand it and then re paint that area.

I think youll have to fiberglass it, I dont think bondo will fix anything, it is only a filler

 

what you can do its fiberglass the back, you can be as sloppy as you want because no one gong see it. Next just use bondo in the front. Its a lot easier to handle with and sand. If you decide to u se fiberglass in the front as well,you better make it flush with the bumper or else it will be so noticeable. Fiberglass is hard to wrk with when it is dried you have to do a lot of sanding. I fiber glass both the front and back and it turn out crappy because i did a bad job putting the mesh and spreading the resin on. Good luck if you are taking any of these steps.
