Default crank pulley bolt

Hey I'm hoping someone else may have run into this similar problem. I have purchased an aftermarket crank pulley for my 94 Civic EX 1.6 vtec manual tranny. The crank pulley bolt that goes on the car isn't long enuf to fit the aftermarket crank pulley onto the car. The crank pulley bolt that comes with the Civic is 14mm x 29mm. The one for an Accord is 16x49 as well as for a Prelude. I also would need the right thread pitch to be on a replacement bolt as well. Anyone have any ideas, other than paying a machine shop to fabricate a custom bolt for me? anybody know specs on other car's pulley bolts that might b long enuf?

just take the bolt to the auto parts store and have them get you a longer bolt that is the exact same thread.

Mind the strength markings on the bolt head, make SURE to get one as stong or stronger. There is a ton of torque on that bolt (as im sure you know haha), wouldn't want it to snap off in there.

I'm just wondering why the pulley came without the bolt if it requires one?
