Default Cruise Control Help

Press the cruise control button to turn it on - check
Accelerate until I want to cruise, hit "Set" button - check
Cruise doesn't work.

Please explain. All lights are working, etc, so what do I check?

is the cruise control light on? you might want to hold down the set for like a second or 2. are you stepping on the brake or gas? don't know what your doing wrong, seems like your doing it right

Check whether fuse 52 under the hood is blown.

If fuse 52 is fine, do you have and know how to use a multimeter? A series of electrical tests needs to be done to locate the problem.

Is the CEL ON?

Do you have a manual transmission?
If so, it's probably the stopper for the clutch switch has broken (don't worry, it's cheap to replace).
That's what happened to me.

oh and yea like sfazngiants said, make sure you are holding the Set button down, or pressing it twice. If you just press it real quick once, it won't do anything.
