Alright guys im getting ready to take off my cv shaft but for starter i have to get teh bolt off of the end.. Well Does anyone know what size it is in Mm i have to go and buy a socket for it.... 96 Honda civic.
I bought a book and cant find it anywhere.....

If you are referring to the spindle nut with the locking tab, then I think it's 32mm.

i think its 22 or 23, i think the back ones are a different size... sorry i couldnt be more help, other than going outside taking the wheel off and putting a socket on. what i did was measure the nut, then went to the shop measured the sockets and bought the one that fit.

32mm. if ur was anything like mine, ur gena need a 1/2" loooong a$$ breaker bar to get the sucker off. or a strong impact gun if u have access to one.

By the way, if I am remembering correctly, AutoZone or O'Reilly will lend you the 32mm socket.

Alright guys thanks for the help.. I found a DIY on here and i have the so i got a punch to punch that tag up and bam it broke right in the groove.... Will it still move or no.... Or am i gonna have to cut teh cv shaft and then push it threw.. Wow and this sucks.... Damn bolt is on there tough....

ah, dont forget to unpunch the bolt before trying to get it off. if u dont, u'll never get the bolt off..

The "tag" has to be punched out somehow in order for the nut to come out
