Default D15b in civic lx sedan 96

I just swap an engine in my civic lx 97 for a vtec engine. i just found out that it is a d15b that was in the car i bought to take the parts in (civic si vtec 96). I swapped the harness and the ecu from that car. The ecu is a p2p. i have a connector on the back of the intake manifold that i have no wire for and the check engine light is on. the car runs but i dont think the vtec works properly. i would need some help to fix the little issues since the car can run. what should i do? change the ecu or is there any wires i have to hook up. and btw i saw that the last owner did the ckf trick. thanks for your help

You need a VTEC ECU and run the VTEC wires. Convert from 3 wire IACV to 2-wire (The thing on the back of the intake manifold). Keep the system OBDII.
