Exclamation d15b (vtec) engine with a d15b8 (non vtec) trans?

can i use ,my old d15b8 trans with my new d15b vtec engine? and how hard is it to wire a vtec? please help

yes you can swap tranny's and I have no idea how to wire vtec on a d15

we have diy links on how to wire vtec, look on our ecu threads its at the top, and yes the trans will just bolt right up.
you will also need a vtec ecu to run vtec once wired up.

Just to make sure everything's clear - I read the post, and I thought Edmaxx was asking if he had to wire anything to the trans for vtec. Anyone care to say anything if thats what he was asking (I don't know... I would assume vtec is engine only, and that its just straight-up bolt in, even if its an auto)
