I have a 92 LX. The cover of my catalytic converter is loose. Its broken off right behind the front 2 bolts. Can i weld it back together or should i just buy a new cover?

Just remove the cover or weld it. It's not that important to spend money on a new one.

The cover is actually designed to hold heat in, which makes the converter work better and also keeps other parts from getting as hot. But like the other guy said, you can just remove it if you want.
