hey guys gotta question.
its obd0 to obd1 conversion running a d15b vtec. its p28 ecu the cars been running strong for 4 months but recently 1 piston is fine on cold start but starts to misfire after its wormed up? it burns white smoke due to the excess fuel due to the misfiring. compression is fine so i figured id need to adjust the valves cuz i hav not yet since iv own the motor any comments on what problem is are welcomed please. thanks guys

 

have you changed the wire and the diz cap?

sounds to me like a head gasket leak starting, cause its fine at cold starts(no pressure in the coolant sytem yet) but has a misfire after it warms up (coolant now has pressure)

 

diz is giving good spark it shockd me pretty good when i went to unplug the cable to first while it was running lol i started thinking the head gasket to but hope no haha im try lil steps first i hope maybe the valves just got loose or maybe there tight but i dout it cause it ran great for 4 months. the exhaust fumes dnt smell lik coolent tho n before the car was cold spark plug was dry n after it was warm took it out again n it was lil wet with gas just a little bit n coolent so far thank god some i am hoping it isnt head gasket

 

okay guys did ecu check for codes n it seems i am getting code 16 marking fuel injectors? anyone no how to fix it or should i replace injectors?

 

Reset the ECU to see if the code returns.

 

yea ron it wont go away. i replaced spark plug cables now the car runs fine but still white smoke out of exhaust n then wat seems like water coming out the tip is gass! n white smoke smells lik gas to. when i diconnect 1 piston the smoke goes away? n it isnt the injector i changed it oready so has to be somthing with wires or ecu mayb. :/
