Default D16y8 stock rebuild

I have a 2000 civic ex with a d16y8 and since I just got another car I'm lookin to rebuild the stock engine. Nothin special just a stock rebuild since I have never done one before. What can I expect as far as total price goes? Also theres no compression in the #4 cylinder (which is why I bought another car) and maybe some other problems.

With parts alone you are going to be looking around $500. If your head needs to be checked and anything replaced i would be you would be looking at another $300.

I have checked in to the prices to rebuild my D16Y8 already. My head only cost me $200 to be rebuilt. But after checking in to it i bought a motor for $500 shipped to me.
