Default damn deer

well got hit by a deer tonight on the way to school. hit my drivers side mirror and smashed my drivers side window and a couple small tiny dings on side of car. luckily that was all the damage and i am fine also.

going to get glass replaced now through insurance, and will later look into mirror which is loose, looks like it got hit and bent about 1/2"

how are these mirrors installed and how hard are they to replace?

I recall just a few screws underneath that black plastic thing above the door panel, along with some wiring for the power for the mirrors. I'm not sure about just doing the mirror glass. But the whole assembly that holds it looked pretty simple, maybe 3 screws...it's been a while though.
The glass itself was not very difficult, not too pricey from a junk yard. I had a harder time vacuuming out every little piece of glass than actually replacing the glass. Just an option if you don't want to spend money on the deductible. I spent $65 on mine.
