My Civic vs a deer ***Getting fixed*** Pics!
Luckily I only hit the back end of it and the damage wasn't too bad. The deer did die though. I don't have comprehensive on this vehicle so I will have to pay to get it fixed. But, it is perfect timing because I wanted to get the car painted this summer anyways. I am going to go this afternoon to get some quotes to fix it. I want to get all the parts necessary from junk yards/ebay and just have someone do the body work and paint it. I am thinking I might even be able to mount the bumper, fender, and headlights myself but I haven't checked to see if the bracing underneath is bent yet. I am going to ask the body shops, but right now it looks like I will need a new bumper, left fender, inner fender, new headlights, and possibly a new hood. In the pics you can see a crease in the hood but I am hoping they can save that so I don't need a new one. There is a huge crack in the bumper, not sure if they can fix that or I need a new one.
I want to go with the JDM style black and clear headlights and I was thinking about a front and rear lip. Problem is, I am new to the civic community and I have no idea where to get a lip or what brand to buy. The colors I like are Lexus Indigo Ink Pearl, a dark candy apple red, or silver, depending on price. The car is a 1997 Civic EX Coupe.
Does anyone have any experience or recommendations on what to do? I have no problems doing as much of the work myself as possible to save money, but I can't do body work.

that sux. it dosnt look to bad tho, i think u got off lucky. looks like u might be able to fix most of it urself. try ur hand at poping those dents and such out with a hammer, since u say u'll repaint it prolly wont matter if u scratch it up more or anything. if u cant get it then u could just snag the parts from a junk yard.

Has anyone ever used Car Parts Wholesale for parts? Quality parts or not? Their prices are really cheap compared to the used stuff I have been looking at. And what does CAPA certified parts mean?

that blows..deer hittings are really a big thing around here too, you hear about one every week in the summer, get a CF hood as well..paint is going to be expensve to do a full color change, rip out the entire inside of the car, this way theres no tape marks
