Default dash clock light

I have a 2001 Honda Odyssey van. I am trying to replace a bulb in the dash for the clock. I cannot figure out how to get at it w/o scratching and tearing at the plastic face plate. Anyone know the tool or trick?

Thank you..............aa

Default RE: dash clock light

It's more involved that than. You need to remove the panel containing the cruise control (on the left) and radio (on the right). Then you need to remove the plastic panel around the odometer/speedometer containing the clock and A/C vents. Disconnect the multi-wire connectors in the back, then flip the panel over. You do not need to remove the clock, but you can if you want. There is a small gray, circular twist connector on the backside of the clock that you twist to remove. This is the light. Go to Radio Shack and buy the #7219 Micro Lamp (stock #272-1092, pkg of 2). You will have to cut the lamp leads to the same length as the old lamp. Reassemble everything in reverse order.
