Dash emergency break light. Its stuck on.

Dash emergency break light. Its stuck on.

For some reason, my emergency break light is stuck on. I have tried engaging and disengaging the emergency break, but the light
stays on. Has anyone seen this before?

That light also indicates other problems with the brake system. Most likely the brake fluid level is low.

Either that or the switch is stuck. That happened on my 2000 DX. I had to pull the arm rest and clean the button.

dito. check your brake fluid level first and if its low simply fill it up and if the light goes off your all good. if it stays on pull the center console rear section and check the switch on the ebrake.
