Question DEAD HORSE TOPIC. 2003 Civic whine/howl.
I am most certain it is not the alternator. It seems tire, or running gear sound. Car is a 2003 LX Coupe, has only 50k miles, Auto trans, new tires (cheap Sears Guardsman) and new front pads & rotors.. Whine begins @ 40mph and doesn't change whether turning left or right. Noise continues right up to a standstill (slowly winding down) while stopping. Hope this helps. Thanks, Johnny

that description could be a million things were going to need alot more information then that. maybe its altanator whine ???
