Default do I need an alignment??

93 civic EX 150K 1.6 auto

I had it aligned back in january when I had a suspension bushing replaced. Yesterday, I replaced the passenger side half shaft. Everything went pretty good while replacing the shaft, but now the car pulls to the LEFT when I accelerate.

I know it's standard procedure to get an alignment after doing work like this, but will an alignment fix my problem? I know the brake is NOT dragging on the LEFT side, and it did not do this before.

The best way to find out if you need an alignment is to get one. They will tell you if it is spot on.
Pulling to one side could be caused by a lot of things. Start with the wheel. Is one worn more or differently than the other? Is the air equal? Switching sides with the wheels could tell you if it's the tire.
Check the bearings. I think they are zero play, so if one has play and the other doesn't, you are looking at a bad bearing.
Are you on flat and level ground. Usually a car will pull to the right, due to slope of the road. Crown or crest of the road for water runoff.
Check the axle, is it seated properly? Is it binding on anything?
Good luck.

Chances are the alignment went bad after the work. Usually if you tear apart suspension components, you'll need an alignment afterwards. Which, to replace the axle, you need to unbolt a few things on the suspension and pull the hub away.

An easy way to check is if a local dealership or alignment shop has alignment plates to drive over. It's a fast, easy and in most cases free way to check if your alignment is off.
