Default Do I need another wheel alignment?

I have a 2004 civic EX, bought second hand. I did a wheel alignment last August. Last week when I took it in for an oil change the guy told me the tires need to be all changed, down to last 2mm on one and pretty close for others too. The amazing thing is these are all still stock tires from 2004... I don't drive much.

Anyways, Im just wondering if I get all 4 tires changed, do I still need to get another alignment after or the one I did last summer would still be ok. I think discounttire shops do tire balances with the change but I really don't wana spend the money on another alignment unless it's necessary (for safety and maintenance reasons)

thanks

no its not necessary but most tire shops offer free alignments when you buy 4 new tires. in that case i would have the alignment checked if its free why not ???
