Don't know where to put this Speedometer

My speedometer laggs before it goes up and some times doesnt go up at all i have rims on my car 17's i think thats the reason but is there any way i can fix it without gogin to a mechanic?

sounds like to me it could be your speedometer going bad

moved to genaral tech help
