Well, the price they quoted me for the part was the same price I got when I called my local Honda dealer. I did some research, but couldn't find the part any cheaper elsewhere, not when you factor in the added cost of shipping to Canada.
I could save some money by installing it myself, if it's really not that hard a job, but I'd only be saving $80 + tax, not $200.
The part# is 72155-s04-a02, if anyone knows a cheaper way to get it.

And DO NOT do it yourself if you don't feel comfortable! That's how stuff gets broke'd! If ya got a friend who's good with that stuff, jus' pay him in beer and it'll be the cheapest install you'll ever pay for!!! I'm serious!!!

 

Interesting, and the part number matches, but the low list price concerns me. They also sell an "actuator assy" that is more in line with the price I was quoted. I'm not sure how the dealer price I got is $100 more than the list price at this site, but there you have it. Although, even at $35, it could be close to $100 by the time I get it rush-shipped to Canada, what with shipping, duty, taxes, conversion, etc., and not be 100% sure that it's the right part. I guess I'm going to just swallow hard and have the shop do the job.
