There are little adjusters behind the lights, play with them. How hardcan it be?

im a little confused but this comes straight from the manual if it helps at all....
Headlight(s) very dim
Check for battery voltage and ground at headlight electrical connector. If battery volage is present, trace the ground circuit for the headlamp electrical connector, then clean and repair as necessary

The wire was out of the connector, i think that falls under the repair section
