Hello, I just bought my first car (1993 Honda Civic EX Coupe 5sp) and the only thing I can find wrong with it is that the drivers side door wont lock. The power locks turn the drivers lock button about half way and fully turn the passenger lock button. When I try to turn it with my hand it does the same thing. Any suggestions on where to start to fix this problem?

You have to pull the handle open on the driver side door for it to lock (the inside handle) if you don't lock it with the key outside.

 

Thats a safety feature so you wont lock the doors inside. You have to get out of the car and lock it with the key.
